What is Steam?

Steam is a video game digital distribution service platform developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched in September 2003 as a way for Valve to provide automatic updates for their games, but eventually expanded to include games from third-party publishers. Steam offers digital rights management (DRM), matchmaking servers, video streaming, and social networking services. It also provides the user with installation and automatic updating of games, and community features such as friends lists and groups, cloud saving, and in-game voice and chat functionality.

How do I activate a game on Steam?

Step 1. Firstly, you will need to download Steam and install it to your PC.

Step 2. Once installed, you will need to "CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT" or sign in with your existing Steam account to start activating your keys.

Step 3. Once signed in, click the "Games" menu at the top OR the "+ ADD A GAME" button in the bottom left corner.

Step 4. Select "Activate a product on Steam".

Step 5. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter the activation key you received from Noctre when prompted.

Step 6. Once you have completed this process, your game will start downloading and install on to your PC.
