Activision is bringing back the all time classic, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.
Under the development of "Toys For Bob", Activision is looking to reignite the genre like they had previously done with the Spyro trilogy, which overhauled the graphics using Unreal Engine 4, but keeping the gameplay intact which we grew to love.
The events take place after Crash Bandicoot: Warped which was released back in 1998 by Naughty Dog, but there really never was a true sequel, until now. Players will have to navigate through alternate dimensions, fighting through menacing bosses to try and save the multiverse.
What's new?
Gameplay remains back to the true and trusted formula, running and jumping through stages, spinning away fearless enemies and breaking away boxes to reveal rewarding items. Players also can also switch between Crash and Coco Bandicoot, allowing for ample playtime between the two protagonists.
The all new power ups and the ability to traverse through walls, manipulate time and gravity will sure make the game feels a lot more dynamic and there is also the ability to play as the antagonist, Neo Cortex with a whole range of different abilities.
